Statevolt aims to rely on local sourcing, processing, and production to produce lithium-ion battery cells that are Made in America froms start to finish. The result: a local and reliable supply chain that eliminates dependence on foreign sources while reducing the net carbon footprint.

Accelerating the Energy Transition

Statevolt’s hyperlocal model will help strengthen the domestic supply of batteries and critical minerals, to create good manufacturing jobs, and to establish American leadership in the energy transition.

Electrifying the Economy

Localizing battery production means localizing clean energy jobs, ensuring American workers benefit from green industrialization. Statevolt is mission-driven to expand economic opportunity and bolster communities. We are collaborating with local universities and industry to train and hire local workers and provide them with the skills necessary to thrive in the growing battery manufacturing industry.

Prioritizing Sustainability

By using sustainable raw materials, renewable energy, and innovative recycling systems, we will minimize our carbon footprint. Through Statevolt’s collaboration with Controlled Thermal Resources, we are able to secure locally sourced lithium and renewable energy, and reduce the inefficiencies association with convoluted global supply chains.

Revitalizing Imperial Valley

Statevolt’s first Gigafactory will be strategically located in Imperial Valley in southern California, providing access to critical minerals and clean geothermal energy. The Imperial Valley Gigafactory will deliver up to 2,500 direct jobs and even more indirect benefits to the region.
